About Baskerville Hounds
Our bloodhounds come primarily from the original Mountaineer and the Brighton bloodlines with exception of one, which is a mix of Mountaineer and Legacy bloodlines. In addition, we have added a pure Legacy bitch, Legacy's ML Lucky Star to add even more variety to our gene pool. Many thanks to Anne Legge.
We started with our first bloodhound in 1994. After showing them and trying to learn as much about the breed as possible, we whelped our first litter five years later, and are very pleased with the result.
Our breeding policy can be summed up as "quality not quantity." Our breedings are selective with an eye toward maintaining, and hopefully improving, the quality of the bloodlines with which we started.
